User Agreement – Roadrunner Xpress Inc.

Effective Date: October 2025

This User Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into between Roadrunner Xpress Inc., a Florida corporation ("Roadrunner Xpress," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"), and the individual or entity ("Customer," "User," or "you") accessing or using the Company's website or services.

By accessing the Roadrunner Xpress Inc. website (the "Site") or using any service provided by Roadrunner Xpress, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Online Services

  • Roadrunner Xpress provides comprehensive online services including package tracking, shipping registration, and account management.
  • Customers may register for a free account to obtain a U.S. address for package forwarding to Jamaica and access online tracking services.
  • Online tracking and shipping services are available for both domestic and international shipments through our designated courier partners (FedEx, USPS, and Meest).
  • Packages shipped under this service are subject to applicable customs, import, and courier regulations.
  • Packages shipped to Jamaica may be collected at our authorized Jamaica branch, which also operates as a small retail store.

2.2 In-Store Services

In addition to courier and freight forwarding, Roadrunner Xpress provides various in-store services including, but not limited to:

  • International shipping via FedEx, USPS, and Meest;
  • Printing, copying, faxing, and scanning;
  • Secure mailbox rentals (24-hour access with a street address);
  • Computer workstations;
  • Notary public services;
  • Travel-related bookings (airline tickets, car rentals, hotels, cruises, and tours);
  • Sale of stamps, packaging supplies and retail materials.

2.3 Third-Party Services

Roadrunner Xpress acts as a facilitator for certain third-party services, including but not limited to USPS, FedEx, Meest, and travel booking systems. All such third-party services are governed by the respective provider's terms and conditions, available at:

The Company is not responsible for any acts, omissions, or delays of third-party providers.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

3.1 Eligibility

Services are available only to individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older.

3.2 Account Information

To register for the shipping-to-Jamaica service, Customers must provide accurate and complete information including:

  • First and Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Tax ID (TRN)
  • Address Line 1 and 2
  • City, State/Region, Country, and Zip Code
  • Store location
  • Password

3.3 Accuracy

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of all information provided. Roadrunner Xpress is not liable for misdelivery, delay, or loss resulting from incomplete or inaccurate data.

3.4 Account Use

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.

4. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must comply with all shipping restrictions imposed by applicable law and courier regulations. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, and hazardous materials;
  • Aerosols, perishables, flammable items, and counterfeit goods;
  • Currency, money orders, or illegal substances;
  • Items prohibited by Jamaican customs or U.S. export law.

Roadrunner Xpress reserves the right to open, inspect, or refuse shipment of any package suspected of containing prohibited or unsafe contents.

4.1 Special Handling for Fragile Items

Important: Customers shipping fragile items to Jamaica must notify Roadrunner Xpress in advance to ensure proper handling and packaging.

  • Advance Notification Required: Customers must inform us about fragile items before shipping to receive special packaging and handling.
  • Free Repackaging: We will repackage fragile items with extra protection at no additional cost when properly notified.
  • Customer Risk: If fragile items are not properly identified in advance, they are shipped at the customer's risk and we assume no responsibility for damage.
  • Damage Claims: Damage claims for fragile items will only be considered if advance notification was provided and the damage occurred due to our handling.

5. Pricing, Payment, and Refunds

5.1 Payment Methods

Payments are accepted in-store only, by cash, debit, or credit card.

5.2 Refunds and Credits for Jamaica Shipments

  • Refunds for shipments handled by third-party couriers (FedEx, USPS, Meest) are governed by their respective refund policies.
  • Damage Claims: If packages shipped to Jamaica arrive broken due to our fault, we will provide appropriate refunds or credits based on our assessment.
  • Fragile Items: Customers must notify us in advance if shipping fragile items requiring special care. We will repackage such items with extra protection at no additional cost.
  • Customer Risk: If customers do not notify us about fragile items, they are shipped at the customer's risk. We may waive shipping costs or provide credits for future shipments at our discretion.
  • Refunds or credits for Roadrunner Xpress-provided services are determined based on our internal policies and assessment of each individual case.

5.3 Storage and Disposal Policy for Jamaica Shipments

  • Free Storage Period: Packages shipped to Jamaica may be held for 2 weeks (14 calendar days) without charge after arrival at our Jamaica location.
  • Storage Fees: After the 2-week free period, a storage fee applies regardless of package cost.
  • Notification Requirement: Customers must pick up packages or provide notification within the 2-week free period to avoid storage fees.
  • Disposal Timeline: Packages unclaimed after 30 days from arrival may be deemed abandoned and will be auctioned off or inventoried for sale.
  • Storage Fee Details: Storage fees apply after the initial 2-week period, and disposal occurs after 30 days of storage fees.
  • All disposal and auction proceeds will be used to offset storage costs and any remaining balance will be forfeited to the Company.

6. Customs, Duties, and Compliance

6.1 Customer Responsibility

Customers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable customs laws, import duties, and taxes.

6.2 Company Role

Roadrunner Xpress provides guidance and forwarding assistance. Company role: Importer of record.

6.3 Limitations

The Company is not responsible for delays, seizures, or penalties imposed by customs or regulatory authorities.

7. Liability and Insurance

7.1 Service Scope

Roadrunner Xpress is not a common carrier and assumes responsibility only while packages are in its possession and prior to handover to an authorized courier or customs authority.

7.2 Risk Transfer

Upon handover, all risk of loss, damage, or delay passes to the courier and/or relevant customs body.

7.3 Insurance

Unless expressly stated otherwise, packages are not insured by Roadrunner Xpress. Customers seeking insurance must obtain it directly from the courier or a third-party provider.

7.4 Limitations of Liability

Roadrunner Xpress shall not be liable for any:

  • Delay caused by courier or customs;
  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages;
  • Loss of profit, business, or goodwill;
  • Acts of God, strikes, or regulatory intervention.

7.5 Maximum Liability

In no event shall the Company's aggregate liability exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Fraud Prevention and Right to Refuse Service

Roadrunner Xpress may, in its sole discretion, refuse service, cancel shipments, or terminate accounts if:

  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or suspected illegal activity is detected;
  • Payment is declined or not honored;
  • Prohibited items are identified; or
  • These Terms are violated.

The Company may report suspected fraud or unlawful conduct to relevant authorities.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

9.1 Collection

Roadrunner Xpress collects limited personal data necessary to process shipments, including the information listed in Section 3.2.

9.2 Use

Data is used exclusively to:

  • Register and manage shipping accounts;
  • Communicate regarding shipments; and
  • Fulfill courier and customs requirements.

9.3 Contact Form

When using the "Contact Us" form, we collect only your name and email to respond to inquiries.

9.4 Data Security

All reasonable measures are taken to safeguard your personal information.

9.5 Deletion Requests

Customers may request deletion of their account and associated personal data by contacting [email protected].

9.6 No Sale of Data

Roadrunner Xpress does not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

9.7 Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA) Compliance

  • You have the right to be notified in the event of a data breach.
  • You may contact us to learn how your data is stored and shared.
  • You may request correction or deletion of your information where permitted by law.

10. Modifications

Roadrunner Xpress may update or amend this Agreement at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Continued use of the Site or services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Broward County, Florida.

12. Florida Consumer Rights Disclosure

Roadrunner Xpress Inc. complies with the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA), Chapter 501, Part II, Florida Statutes.

Florida residents have the right to:

  • Receive clear information about services purchased;
  • Be protected from unfair or deceptive trade practices; and
  • File complaints with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) by calling 1-800-HELP-FLA (435-7352) or visiting www.fdacs.gov.

13. Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Customer and Roadrunner Xpress Inc. regarding the use of the Site and related services and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications.
